This family-run Champagne maker is located in the Champagne region of France. Known as the "natural revolutionary of Champagne," it continues to produce innovative wines. Founded in 1970, it is known for its commitment to organic and biodynamic winemaking. While respecting the traditions of Champagne, it combines a modern approach with ecological considerations. Its grapes are cultivated without chemicals, utilizing natural methods, resulting in wines with a pure, clean taste. Unlike other Champagne producers, it is environmentally conscious and places a high priority on sustainability. Its champagnes, made from high-quality grapes, are renowned for their fresh and elegant style. Abyss is a unique champagne aged at the bottom of the ocean, 60 meters deep off the coast of Brittany, where it is aged for over a year. The quiet environment, constant water temperature, pressure, and currents create delicate bubbles and a mineral taste. Made from a blend of 50% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 20% Pinot Meunier, all grown using biodynamic farming methods, this dry champagne has no added sugars. This is a one-of-a-kind wine that can be described as "Champagne imbued with the energy of the sea." |
