This is an exquisite Champagne produced by a top biodynamic producer in the Champagne region, with great terroir and long-term aging potential. The 2012 vintage in particular is a historic year for Champagne, a rare great vintage born from grapes of exceptional quality. Larmandier-Bernier is one of the most innovative natural producers in the Champagne region. They practice biodynamic farming and use Chardonnay grapes from vines over 50 years old. They use very little dosage (added sugar) to express the pure flavor of the grapes, producing the finest Blanc de Blancs (wine made only from white grapes/Chardonnay). Due to limited production, few bottles are available on the market, making this a particularly valuable bottle for natural champagne lovers. |
