Owned by the Perrodo family and based in Margaux, Bordeaux, France, this winery is known for producing elegant and delicate red wines unique to the Margaux region. In recent years, they have also ventured into white wines, releasing their first vintage in May 2024. "Saam Long" means "Three Dragons" and represents the three elements that symbolize Domaine P: the three Perrodt children, the three chateaux, and the three grape varieties that make up this unique white wine. A blend of 1/3 each of Chardonnay, Petit Manseng, and Albariño, this wine boasts a rich, creamy flavor with harmonious aromas of citrus, white peach, almond, and spice. Another attractive feature is the delicate minerality of Margaux's chalky and alluvial soil. It was first served at Margaux's La Table de Nathalie restaurant in May 2024, where it has been lauded by critics as a "sweet, complex, and distinctive white wine." |
