This prestigious Château is a representative example of Pauillac, ranked among the second growths in the Médoc classification. Its delicate and refined style, which has been passed down since the time of its female owner, combines power with elegance, setting it apart from other Pauillacs. The soft, harmonious flavors, born from the high proportion of Merlot, have been enjoyed by wine lovers around the world for many years. The 2009 vintage was extremely favorable, with ideal weather conditions resulting in highly acclaimed wines. The long, warm, dry summer and mild autumn allowed the grapes to ripen perfectly and be harvested with a perfect balance of sugar and acidity. This wine, a blend primarily of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, displays rich aromas of black fruits, particularly cassis and blackberry. Further notes of spice, vanilla, and toasted oak complement the wine, creating a complex and deep aroma. The tannins are soft, the mouthfeel is smooth, and the finish is long and lingering. With excellent balance and potential, this wine is already ready to drink but will age well and be enjoyed for decades to come. |
